crack width due to early termal and bending

I am trying to find out what Eurocode said about combined crack width. HK code on highway structures which reference to EC mention the total crack with is the sum of early thermal cracks and cracks under service loads. Early thermal crack may not fall at the right place or direction as cracks caused by service loads. Further, in HK, all reinforced concrete highway structures are checked if the crack widths exceed certain permissible values. Are they also carried out in other countries?
